Our scheduling department coordinates appointments between patients and participating clinic locations.
From workers’ compensation to personal injury care, scheduling may depend on several factors, including claim status, authorization, provider availability, treatment location, and the type of care being requested. In some cases, treatment may need to be authorized by the insurance carrier before an appointment can be scheduled.
Under certain circumstances, a patient may be scheduled before final authorization is received. However, the appointment may be canceled or rescheduled if authorization is not approved by the insurance company or claims administrator.
Patients may be asked to provide their claim number, date of injury, insurance carrier, adjuster information, attorney information, and any authorization or referral documents before scheduling. Having this information available helps our team schedule appointments more efficiently and connect patients with the appropriate provider.
