Dr. Alejandro Katz, OMD. L. Ac.

With over 40 years of acupuncture experience, Dr. Alejandro Katz’s received his Medical Doctor degree from the Buenos Aires University, School of Medicine in 1976 and became a Licensed Acupuncturist in Argentina in 1979. Dr. Katz received his Doctorate in Oriental Medicine from SAMRA University in 1983. He currently holds a high status as a reviewer for numerous insurance companies, the State of California, and Expert Witness for the Acupuncture Board (State of California). Dr. Alejandro Katz has been retained as a litigation expert/consultant in acupuncture malpractice cases over 30 times and has provided testimony a number of times in connection with those cases.

Dr. Garret Casey, DC. L. Ac.

Dr. Casey is a practicing Doctor of Chiropractic since 1969 and a Doctor of Oriental Medicine since 2008. His clinical practice has focused on spinal and extremity trauma and impairment along with pain management with the addition of Acupuncture. His clinical practice has extended into the evaluation and assessment in permanent disability since 1979 with medical-legal evaluations in Workers’ Compensation, personal injury, and independent bill review.

He was certified as a Qualified Medical Evaluator by the State of California Medical Bureau for evaluation of permanent disability through 2008 and the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners to proctor the Practical Examination of candidates seeking California Chiropractic licensure from 1983 through 2013. He has served as an Expert Witness for the State of California Board of Chiropractic examiners and has testified as an expert witness from 1979 in Superior and Municipal court cases where issues of suspected billing excess and allegations that spinal or extremity injuries were responsible for suspected prolonged treatment programs, permanent injury/impairment and loss time from work.

Dr. Gary Jacob, DC. L. Ac.

Dr. Gary Jacob received a BA in Philosophy of Science at SUNY Binghamton in 1974, his DC degree from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1978, and graduated from the California Acupuncture College in 1981. In 2003, he graduated from UCLA with the degree of Master of Public Health (MPH) in Community Health Education and Promotion.  From 2017 to 2018 he was an Adjunct at the Rand Corporation in Santa Monica, California on a multi-center study regarding Chronic Pain.  Dr. Jacob has authored multiple textbook chapters regarding the McKenzie Method (MDT) and has taught internationally End range loading strategies (directional exercises, mobilizations, and manipulations; neural mobilizations; myofascial release; stabilization, etc.), biopsychosocial concepts and med-legal issues. 

Dr. Jacob is a Clinical Professor at Southern California University of Health Sciences, Whittier, California, and Doctoral Faculty at Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, California.
